Practice sign

The office is now accepting bookings for practice ice.

Email the office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. identifying the date / time you wish to book ice for a practice or for a makeup game. Subject line of your email should say PRACTICE ICE.

Please note that practice time is provided free of charge for members of Leaside Curling Club; non-members must pay for ice time and must sign a waiver.

In anticipation of high demand, the club will book up to 4 members on each sheet of practice ice.

Are you looking for a fun outing with family and friends over the holiday season? Leaside Curling Club is taking bookings for ice rentals from December 27 - 29; current expected hours of operation are as follows (we may adjust hours depending on demand):

      • Wednesday December 27: between the hours of 3 pm & 9 pm
      • Thursday December 28: between the hours of  noon and 5 pm
      • Friday December 29: between the hours of noon and 5 pm

Please note that members of Leaside Curling Club receive special member-only rates for ice rentals

Registration for the 2023/24 season opened in July. 

At this time, we have limited capacity for new members. The following leagues are full and are not accepting any further registrations:  Sunday Open; Sunday Pizza league; Monday men's tag draw; Monday Open Skins; Tuesday and Thursday evening men's, Super 7 Saturday Starter Series leagues; and Open Doubles. Individuals interested in these leagues will be placed on a waitlist. Our day women's leagues are now closed for registration for the first draw, but will accept individuals wanting to join in draw 2 (starts end of November).

Member emails We have always had a few members who, for unknown reasons, have not received any e-mails or newsletters sent out by the club. More recently, it appears that Rogers has blocked mass e-mails being sent out by the club, possibly thinking they are Spam. We now have a new item on our Member Menu (ie. you must be logged in to the member-only portion of the website): Member E-mails. Click on this, and you will see a complete list of all e-mails and newsletters that have been sent out from our web platform. With this new feature, you can rest assured that you're getting access to all important information being sent out to Leaside Curling Club members.

A proud member of the Leaside community for over 60 years, Leaside Curling Club is a vibrant not-for-profit organization. This wheelchair-accessible facility is open from September to April and features 8 sheets of curling ice, a lounge, bar, pro shop, and change rooms.
