Thank you doesn't seem like enough!

To all the wonderful women in our evening and daytime women's leagues:

I will never find enough words to say "thank you" for the most AMAZING retirement party ever! I feel truly blessed and privileged.

To Stephanie and Susan: thank you for taking the time and putting forth the effort to plan this. It was a complete and total success.

Susan: the cake was fantabulous!  It looked and tasted great.

Betty Hicks: I believe you spearheaded the collection of messages in the book.  I plan to start reading those messages this Saturday when I can relax at home with a good cup of coffee in my hand.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the food table (you gotta have food when there's a party!).

Audrey & Carol: you outdid yourselves!  I'm so happy it was all captured on video. I shared it with my mom when I made a quickie trip up north this week, and she loved it!

As for the gifts: I'm blown away. Planning for my trip to the Scotties in Charlottetown next February is officially underway.

Thanks to Petra at Viva for the parting gifts; I know I enjoyed my glass of bubbly on Sunday night.

For all those (and there were quite a few of you!) who took time out of their busy lives to drop by: this was sincerely appreciated.

I'm writing a newsletter as we speak and I'll include a photo gallery with shots from the day.

Again, from the bottom of my heart: thank you! thank you! thank you! I truly felt like a Queen (the Queen of Clubs perhaps) on Sunday.
