Mixed Playoff Finals and Party

 Good afternoon mixed section members,

If you (or friends/family) are joining us on Saturday for the finals the finalists will be piped out onto the ice at approximately 2:50pm. The finals will start at 3:00pm with games of tiles happening in the lounge. Our theme this year is I AM CANADIAN so feel free to come dressed in your best Canadian attire whether you are staying for the party or not.

After the finals we will present awards and conduct our annual AGM meeting (very short this year). We welcome everyone to join us for the awards and AGM, however following the AGM we would kindly ask all non-party/ticket holders to vacate the building. 

At this time we will hold our door prize draw. There are 13 prizes this year, approximately $1900 in prizes. If you purchased a ticket for the party you have a chance to win one of these great prizes.

We are excited to welcome Revol Events who will be serving dinner this year in a cocktail party format with your favorite Canadian dishes. The menus will be on the tables, please check them out, the food sounds like it will be incredible. Dinner should start at approximately 6:30pm. 

Games to start at approximatley 7:30pm and dancing shortly there after. Last call at the bar will be 12:30am, last song at 1:00am so please plan for a safe ride home (if you are drinking; please don't drive) as this should be one heck of a good party!

P.S. I'm sure most of you saw Paivi's e-mail regarding sign up for next year during the first week of July. If you already know your team will not be returning to the mixed section please let us know (Barbara, Dave and/or myself). This will help us plan for next year. If you already know you will be a partial team and need assistance filling out your team please provide us with that information as well. 

There will be a large portion of time over the offseason where we are unable to communicate with you via emails (to the mixed section) so if you think you may need to reach out please take my number down for questions over the summer.
