Ross Soloman Award Nomination Form

The Ross Solomon Award was established in honour of one of the club's founding members and was initiated as a tribute to club members during our 25th anniversary year.

The award is presented annually to a club member who exemplifies the aims and objectives of the Leaside Curling Club. A member may receive the award only once.

Aims and Objectives

The award recognizes members who help:

• Foster, promote and engage in the game of curling.
• Foster friendly relations among club members.
• Preserve the traditions of the game of curling.
• Cooperate with other clubs in the interest of fellowship and curling.
• Encourage participation by all members in club activities.
• Maintain membership in curling associations.

Nominations

All adult members in good standing, except Social and Spare-only members, are eligible to submit nominations.

Nominations should be sent filled out electronically by October 15, 2026

Please note that members may receive the award only once.

The award will be presented at the Annual General Meeting.
