The Little Rock curling program is aimed at youth ages 7 to 12 years of age.  
The program runs Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
Format:  off-ice discussion, on-ice skills, game

All curlers are required to wear clean indoor shoes (no slider or tape) or curling shoes with 2 grips while not throwing stones.  If shoes have ever been worn outside, please have a coach check them before you go out on the ice.
In accordance with Curling Canada guidelines, all little rockers are required to wear protective head gear.
Wear warm, loose fitting clothing (no jeans!) and gloves.

Regardless of knowledge or curling experience, parents and guardians of curlers are encouraged to participate in program supervision and coaching too! 

Important Dates for 2018/19:

October 11: first day of Little Rocks (first Thursday after Thanksgiving)
December 20: last game of 2018
December 27: no Little Rocks
January 3: no Little Rocks 
January 10: first Little Rocks session in 2019
March 7: last Little Rocks session of the season (Party!)

Leaside Curling Club offers curling to youth aged 13 to 20.
The bantam program is for curlers aged 13-15 while the junior program is for curlers ages 16-20.
The program runs Sunday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

October 14: bantam/junior season starts (this is the first Sunday after Thanksgiving)
November 4: no curling (ice maintenance)
December 23: no curling
December 30: no curling
October 6: no curling
January 13: first bantam/junior session in 2019
February 17: no curling (Family Day weekend)
March 24: no curling
April 14: final bantam/junior session of the season

In addition to the regular Sunday time slot, ten additional practice sessions will be planned for Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm throughout the season. Coaches will be on hand to assist with these sessions.
