  • Little Rocks
  • Bantam / Junior Program

The Little Rock curling program is aimed at youth ages 7 to 12 years of age.
The program runs Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
Format:  off-ice discussion, on-ice skills, game

All curlers are required to wear clean indoor shoes (no slider or tape) or curling shoes with 2 grips while not throwing stones.  If shoes have ever been worn outside, please have a coach check them before you go out on the ice.
In accordance with Curling Canada guidelines, all little rockers are required to wear protective head gear.
Wear warm, loose fitting clothing (no jeans!) and gloves.

New requirements under Rowan's Law came into effect July 1, 2019.  All athletes under the age of 26, as well as parents (on behalf of athletes under the age of 18) and coaches, must sign off on a Concussion Awareness Resource and Concussion protocol.

Regardless of knowledge or curling experience, parents and guardians of curlers are encouraged to participate in program supervision and coaching too!

Registration for the 2021/22 season is not yet open; the opening date for registration will be posted on the home page of the Leaside Curling Club website.
